So here’s the thing about being a writer….
It means I’m not necessarily the best when it comes to technical stuff, i.e., having this snazzy website. It took me literally years to give up and cough up the dough to hire someone who actually knows what she’s doing, but I finally did and I’m so glad that I did. I hired Stephanie Jones, who worked some magic for me making this website and setting up my new course and products pages (and who just happened to travel the world with her 5 kids, NBD), and I’m so excited that my online freelance writing class is finally ready for you all!
My online freelance writing class is designed to help you start a REAL career as a freelance writer. It takes you through all the steps you will need, from balancing work with kids to tax write-offs and how to get organized. Here is what people are saying about my class so far:
What People Are Saying About My Writing Class:
“I would definitely recommend this class. Chaunie is a breath of fresh air with so much experience (both as a writer and an editor which makes her advice all the more helpful.) I learned so much about what goes into freelancing, how to find and create opportunities for myself, and submission hacks that would have taken me months or years to figure out myself. It is so inspiring to see someone who has figured out the system and made success for herself, even while mothering young children. I think that the class has helped me to take myself seriously as a writer, and to realize that I will only get what I put into this career.”
“Perfectly tailors to the mom. Would absolutely recommend it.”
“Yes, I would recommend it and for me, it came at the right time. I was stuck in a rut, even though my writing ‘career’ has just begun. It gave me just the right push to keep moving.”
“All of the little details that Chaunie has learned over the years are invaluable (for example, following up with editors, not emailing the generic submissions account, tracking ideas and submissions.) Also, the part about taking yourself seriously as a writer, owning it and seeing where it takes you was liberating.”
“Her honesty, wisdom, and down-to-earth approach was invaluable.”
I know, right? I’m so excited to hear that the class has been helpful — and I hope it can help you, too!
