Why do I write?
Because I believe words matter and that stories are what compel and connect us. There’s a reason the Bible is full of stories, guys, and that’s because without stories, we are not our best selves.
Words are what stir our hearts, energize our souls, and move our bodies towards action.
Why do I help others write?
Because I believe that words have very real value, whether they be in the form of the world’s most beautiful poem, a riveting novel, or just in achieving the perfect description in a bio page for a client. There’s something so satisfying in capturing the embodiment of an idea, emotion, or moment in the perfect sentence, isn’t there?
I believe that women especially deserve to have a chance to work flexibly in a format that allows them to make a difference in the world, bring home a paycheck, and care for their families in ways that are meaningful to them. I don’t believe in starving for your art when there are mouths to feed in my house, thanks.
The why behind my work:
Quite simply, I do what I do because I believe that women-and their words-matter.
